Red Sox open 2020 season at home against Baltimore

BOSTON – In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Red Sox recently announced their 60-game 2020 regular season schedule, which has the team opening at Fenway Park on Fri., July 24, in the first of a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles.
The shortened season has the club playing American League East and National League East opponents only, and includes 30 home games at Fenway Park and 30 road games.
The Red Sox will host the Yankees at Fenway Park only once, September 18-20. The club will travel to Yankee Stadium twice with a three-game series July 31-August 2, and a four-game series August 14-17.
The Red Sox will travel to four National League ballparks in 2020: Citi Field for a two-game series against the New York Mets (July 29-30); Citizens Bank Park for a two-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies (September 8-9); Marlins Park for a three-game series against the Miami Marlins (September 14-16); and Truist Park for a three-game regular season series finale against the Atlanta Braves (September 25-27).
Four National League teams will make trips to Fenway Park in 2020: the New York Mets (July 27-28); the Philadelphia Phillies (August 18-19); the Washington Nationals (August 28-30); and the Atlanta Braves (August 31-September 2).
With the exception of a 4:30 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays on August 13, day games at Fenway Park have a scheduled start time of 1:35 p.m. Night games at Fenway Park are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Red Sox 2020 schedule is attached. – Courtesy of the Boston Red Sox
