WESTFIELD – Robert (Bob) A. Renaud 72, (1952-2024) of Westfield, peacefully passed away at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, with his wife and daughter by his side.
Bob was born November 7th, 1952, and raised in Holyoke to Henry P. and Doris (Couture) Renaud. He was a 1971 graduate of Holyoke High School where he played on the football team. Robert worked many years for McDonalds and retired from Christmas Tree Shops where he worked up from an overnight supervisor to an Assistant Store Manager at the Holyoke Mall.
Bob is survived by his wife Denise whom he married on September 15th, 1990. He leaves his loving daughter Christina Menard, of Westfield, and her husband Karl who he thought of as more of a son. His son George (Melissa) Renaud, of West Springfield. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren Chloe Renaud, Colin and Kamrin Menard. He will forever be their Bumpa.
Bob was predeceased by his parents along with his brother Richard Renaud and sister Karen Renaud. He leaves his sisters Linda Renaud and Janice (Russell) Proulx, of Holyoke, and his sister-in-law Regina Renaud, of Spencer, along with his nephews, niece, and many friends.
Bob was an avid Boston Celtics and New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed going to the Celtics games with his son-in-law. Robert loved going to all three of his grandchildren’s soccer, basketball, and baseball games. Robert enjoyed teaching his grandsons to play chess. He also loved going on vacation with his family and visits to the lake. He loved his long sightseeing drives with his wife and also going to bingo at Foxwoods.
Per Roberts wishes, there is going to be no services, and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
