WESTFIELD – While the Roots Soccer League is currently paused due to the coronavirus outbreak, league officials recently confirmed their intentions to conduct a full spring season when the “stay-at-home” orders are lifted.
All activities at Roots have been suspended until May 4. Games originally scheduled for April 25 and May 2 will be rescheduled, and the 7v7 Jamboree is likely to be cancelled.
All of Roots Soccer League club teams have been submitted. A scheduling process is currently under way. Roots Soccer League promises that the season will commence when an all-clear is announced.
Clubs, coaches and parents are urged to visit Roots Soccer League’s website for announcements and changes to the schedule by April 22 with games beginning May 9.
