Rosemarie (Decoteau) Dwarska

HILLSBOROUGH, NH: Rosemarie was born during a blizzard on February 13, 1936 to Edna (LaFogg) and Ernest Decoteau of Russell, MA. She died on January 31, 2022, at home, in Hillsborough, NH leaving her husband of 36 years, Donald Dwarska. She was previously married to Robert Woodworth for 28 years. She was predeceased by her siblings: Marjory Paquette, Stanley, Robert, and Russell Decoteau. She was also predeceased by her 2 sons, Richard A. and Todd K. Woodworth, and 2 grandchildren, Roger Pickford, Jr. and Allison Dwarska.

She loved her children, whether biological, or not, it didn’t matter. They were all precious to her. These included: Rosemary and Milo Miller, Jr. (deceased) of FL, Linda and Don Griswold of MA, Dennis and Cheryl Woodworth of UT, and Michelle and Jon Lafreniere of NH, Donna and Don Dwarska of MA, Kimberely Dwarska Stolecki of MA; Mark and Kelley Dwarska Waring of MA. She also leaves grandchildren Corey and Samantha Perreault, Shauna Tyler, Michael and Melanie Tyler, Meghan Rose and Matt Yocum, Sean and Amber Pickford, Shane and Haleigh Tighe, Daniel Dwarska, Kayla and Brittany Stolecki, Allison and Maddison Waring.

Great-grandchildren include Olivia Rose Perreault, Ronan, Rylee Rose, Remi Yocum, Zachariah Cloutier, Eli Gutierrez, Violet, Daisy Tyler, Kyra, Layla, Hunter, and Kolten Pickford, and due in over a month–Juliette Rosemarie Tighe.

She leaves behind life-long friends Paul and Betty Williams of Monson, MA and Shirley Porter of Worthington, MA. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed many hobbies, including going to Cape Cod, and she loved long walks on the beach, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, drawing, oil painting, braiding rugs, and cardmaking over the years. Rosemarie graduated from Westfield High School in 1954. She worked at Anderson, Sears, and for Westfield State College for 23 years in Lammers Hall.

Everyone she interacted with she made friends, everyone loved her, she was quiet the social butterfly, she will be dearly loved and missed by so many people. Rest in peace Mom, we love you more and will miss you so much.

Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street in Westfield, MA will hold a wake on February 12, 2022 from 1 to 4 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the spring.
