WESTFIELD – Sandra L. (Young) Salois, 66, of Westfield died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at home peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Westfield on June 3, 1946 to Victor J. and Blanche (Dorman) Young.
She was a 1964 graduate of Westfield High School and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Westfield. Sandi retired as the sales manager for Whip City Tool and Die, prior to that she was a clerk in the Magistrates Office of the Westfield District Court for eighteen years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband: spending time with her children and grandchildren and working in her garden.
Sandi leaves her husband, Ray of twenty-eight years and her children; David E. Iserman Jr. and Brian Iserman both of Westfield, Jason Salois of San Diego, CA and Jennifer Smidy and her husband Jason of Westfield. She leaves her four grandchildren, Haley and Holden Iserman, Austin Girouard and Phoenix Iserman. She also leaves her mother, Blanche Fila of Agawam; a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Bilodeau and her husband Ray of Southwick, and countless other friends and loved ones.
A memorial service for Sandi will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church, 115 Elm Street in Westfield at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
