Second Congregational Church to host Holiday Bazaar

WESTFIELD- The Second Congregational Church is hosting its 4th annual Holiday Bazaar Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church to raise money for their youth services.

The church’s Jennifer Thielen said that this is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year and will feature more than 20 vendors and local artisans who will be selling their goods.

“The funds raised mainly go to the weekend-long youth retreat in the winter and the summer vacation bible school program,” said Thielen.

She noted that they typically raise an average of around $1,000 a year during this fundraiser. Some of the vendors and artisans that will be there include B’s Breads, Highland Gifts, Sophie Bella, Usborne Books, and Turtle Mountain Native American Jewelry.

The church will also be selling hot soups and dishes in addition to their raffle and bake sale that will contribute to the fundraising.

Each year, the fundraiser is dedicated to Bobbi Bard, a lifelong member of the Second Congregational Church in Westfield who contributed to its family ministries for most of her life.
