GREENFIELD – Southwick senior baseball pitcher Bart Shea tossed a no-hitter, striking out 13 batters in the process as the Rams silenced the Greenfield Green Wave 2-0 on the road late Thursday.
Southwick scored its only runs of the game in the fifth inning when Frank Wynglarz beat out a bunt for a single, stole second base, and scored on Nick Michaels’ two-strike, two-out base hit. Michaels then stole second and scored on an error by the Greenfield right fielder.
Southwick’s Johnny Cesan went 1-for-2 with a walk.
