Southwick Police locate person involved in early morning crash

SOUTHWICK – Shortly after midnight March 11 Southwick Police responded to a call for a power outage in the Tannery Road area.

According to police reports, upon arrival police discovered an unoccupied vehicle had struck a utility pole. Police learned the operator had medical concerns and had not been heard from since the accident. Southwick Police and Fire, with assistance from Russell State Pilice and the State Police Airwing, conducted a search for the operator. The driver was located at 7:08 a.m. at the Mobil station on College Highway.
The incident is under investigation.
