SOUTHWICK – The Southwick Police Department has successfully identified the two suspects suspected of shoplifting the College Highway CVS on April 7.
According to Sgt. Det. Robert Landis, the department has identified two individuals of interest, but the names of the suspects can’t be released to the public until all of the charges are fully submitted.
Landis noted that part of the reason that he was able to identify the two individuals was due to tips from people finding things on social media.
“It’s nice for people to realize that their calls can mean something,” said Landis.
With complaints currently being sought for the two people at Westfield District Court, Landis added they’re at least being charged for larceny under $1,200.
On the afternoon of April 7, a white male and a white female walked into the CVS on College Highway and stole several boxes of Rogaine shaving cream. The retail value for an entire box is around $55 and is common for shoplifters to sell them to pawn shops.
The identities of the two individuals will be announced once the Southwick Police Department updates their investigation.
