WESTFIELD – A Special City Council meeting has been scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. in City Council chambers, with one item on the agenda: to accept the resignation of Treasurer/Collector Meghan Kane, who City Council President John J. Beltrandi, III said is leaving for personal reasons.
Beltrandi said that at the meeting on Thursday, which he expects to be brief, the City Council will authorize the formation of a committee to take applications for a replacement for the position.
