WESTFIELD – Taesun “Oksun” Kim, (1952–2023) a pure soul and beautiful guardian angel, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 13, 
2023 in Westfield, MA. Taesun was the eldest daughter of Kim Undong and Lee Cheabong. She was born and raised in South Korea, a graduate of the International Design Institute and Daehan Accountant Institute, and most recently a local business owner in Springfield MA.
Taesun would like to send a personal and heartfelt thank you to her family, medical staff and advisors, and to everyone who walked this path with her, and those who were a part of her life journey.
Taesun will be remembered for her bravery, strength, courage, warmest heart, brightest and sweetest smiles, and love of her family. Her memories will live on forever in our hearts. We love you now and forever. Until we meet again, Ummunim.
Taesun is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jaechol Kim, sons Taewan Kim and Taehyo Kim, and a “daughter-in-law” Lan Nguyen, whom she loved dearly like her own daughter.
