WESTFEILD – Therese (Foley) Reed, 94, of Westfield passed away at home with her family by her side. Therese was born in Springfield, MA, to the late James and Laurencia Foley. She attended Sacred Heart School in Springfield. She retired from the New England Telephone as an information operator.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband, George H. Reed, in 1991, her daughter, Donna, in 2009, son-in-law, David O’Brien, in 2021, and great-granddaughter, Donna Bella, in 2010.
Therese is survived by her daughters, Therese Reed of South Dennis, MA, Karen O’Brien of Westfield, MA, and Mary Adams (David) of New Haven, CT. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Bill (Trisha), Sean (Kate), Jessica, Stephen (Melissa), Lynn (Mike), Kyle and Alex. She also leaves six great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Bridget, Logan, Connor, Ava and Kylie.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date. We would like to thank her caregiver and grandson, Kyle O’Connell, for the excellent care he provided his grandmother.
