WESTFIELD – Thomas G. Ouimette, 90, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in New York. Born in Salem, MA he was a former longtime resident of Westfield.
Thomas was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a retired longtime Chef for First National Market.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Julia (Hardiman) in 1988 and by his second wife, Alice (English) in July. He leaves two sons, Paul Hardiman of Alston, MA and Thomas G. Ouimette, Jr. of Westfield; a daughter, Angela Wood of Framingham, MA; three brothers, Robert of TX, William of FL, and Joseph of CA; his grandchildren, Jason Ouimette, Tammy Gaudio, Sherry Colon, Matthew and Jolene Dowland and Deanna Davilla and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, September 7th at 9:00 a.m. at the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. The Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main Street, Westfield is assisting the family.
