Hello Westfield, and especially Ward 3, and more especially Westfield Technical Academy, Public Schools, Students, Parents, Teachers, Administrators et al….FYI the March For Our Lives on SATURDAY, MARCH 24, local planned events will be held at: 12:00 NOON, Springfield, on Court St., by City Hall, and same time at Northampton High School, PLEASE SHOW UP. It is about time Americans acted like Americans and lived up to our civil and civic responsibilities by participating in our decision making. QUIT WHINNING, and take back the American Exceptionalist Principle that we are the government. This is at least what our founders from Mass., and from most of the North East fought to enable US to be. Especially these days with so many Americans regardless of ideology or faction, are fed up with the FED, the new politics as usual. While very few want to be involved in the day to day governance, our day to day governance; our day to day governance and the public employees that we hired in the elections truly are not representative of The Will, Want or Needs of the People. But there is a new hope glimmers as a New Generation of Americans are stepping up to say Enough is Enough; Basta Ya. High Schoolers with the courage to confront their State Government, and politicians all the way up to the White House. They are not radicals or militant reactionaries. Instead they are being reasonable and responsible for their concern as to what is happening in their, and our America.

They are the new advocates for civil and civic responsibility in an era where lives no longer matter. Pro Kill, and the pro attack one another is tearing our country apart. Our nation started with 13 separate states, and not just one. Where to preserve our Independence, and our Civic Responsibilities and with it the Authority and liberties that they worked every day for. Now it is all about ME, winning, about money, and what one group wants to impose upon another. Again to borrow from Benjamin Franklin, who, at that Constitutional Convention urged the delegates to set aside their personal ambitions, and self-interests…for off our shore there were those waiting for our experiment in self-governance to fail… And, so too it the same today. Our Democracy was forged in cooperation and compromise. When Our Constitution was written it was often called The Great Compromise. And, to really get preachy and borrow from another source: …”and a child shall lead them…,” … to lead US.

So, again, the March For Our Lives on SATURDAY, MARCH 24; 12:00 NOON, Springfield, on Court St., by City Hall, and same time at Northampton High School, PLEASE SHOW UP. Your former Ward 3 City Councilor, Brian Hoose, [email protected]
