To the Editor

Hello Ward 3, and all of Westfield…Before I move on to other things I just wanted to make one more comment about my previous edit…I also volunteer with My own non-profit; The Independent Centrist Voter Initiative Network. I know, too long…It will be shortened. But, it is kind of a sole proprietorship non-profit for Independent voters, and disenfranchised voters who feel abandoned and betrayed by their Political Party. I say sole proprietorship as we do not want another political party adding to the clash of self-interests, but we do need a means that will represent our interests and coordinate our ability to do so. It is as well based upon the Principles of American Exceptionalism as declared in the documents and other works of our founders. A major part of this is to educate people with real facts that can be simply substantiate with a visit to your public library’s reference room. And, to educate and provide reminders to our voters about factors omitted in the versions of things being said, and the pop fiction versions often used.  Oh no complaints about fullpager,oh this one you agree with… I love political hypocrisy, just being facetious…Sorry.

OK, again back to me…Is there a lawyer in the house???  I am, still, not getting my prescriptions filled. This is not just for me but I am aware that the AG’s office had mentioned something about practices at Noble, and their sub divisions. This means that there are others out there like me. And, while my situation is not good, theirs is worse; with multiple victims. Remember, I worked for 30 years in Human Services; was med certified and dealt with client med issues. The good part of my employment, and the many academic courses in Human Behavior, I am better able to manage mine. BUT, sometimes the condition can out do the management! Working in that field (direct care) can be stressy enough without the help of co-workers doing everything they can to force you out, and administrators who did not like it when Trogs spoke up, or out about policies and practices that violated Client Human Rights. Thus, after at least 3 feeble, but feasible suicide attempts, I figured out is better than dead. I realize that for all the talk, a lot who do talk, do not know that much about it, especially those in the medical and people centered occupations. We really need to have so many occupations have included in their learning a lot more Human/Behavioral sciences. Thus, is it why we have such a high suicide rate, even with our youth. It is also a contributing factor to our Over Dosing and Opioid crisis, and other self-harmful behaviors. When you no longer believe your life has any value; so what if I die? Who cares? NO ONE! I also have a history with people who did drugs, serious ones…but that is a story for another time. And, no I was not a junkie, just had a bunch of friends who were. Without meds, or wrong meds, it does not take much to go over the edge, or in my case have an anger spark that would not be pretty. No threat other than hollering…but that doesn’t help either. It does make you feel better though.

Anyway, I did contact the AG’s Consumer Complaints Division, but, knowing, this not trusting bureaucracies; after 30+ years in civic activities…Is there a lawyer in the house; help me and others??? OK, for now this took a bit out of me. Next time back to issues and concerns from the community, and in serviced work for my non-profit/public serviced org. I shall be activating it soon. Do to my econ’s it is taking a bit more to cross all the tees. And, if you are ticking off ideologues or even pseudo-ideologues armed with resources; I know it must not have flaws, even when they create them out of very thin air. I remain, your former Ward 3 City Councilor, Brian Hoose. [email protected]
