To the Editor: Thank you

On behalf of my family, I want to thank Wendy Bard for organizing Wear Pink Dress Down Day at Franklin Elementary School in Westfield as well as the employees who participated.  Town and school employees in Agawam have done this for the last few years and this year we were joined by employees at the West Springfield Town Hall and Franklin Elementary School, who as I understand it enjoyed yummy pink treats in their break room as well!   We are so honored to be among such kindness and generosity.  Some say it takes a village to raise a child well I say it takes a village to support each other and our ‘village’ has gone above and beyond supporting the Bard family these last four years.  We are beyond grateful.  I am proud to say the following hospitals have webcams in their NICUs:  BayState Children’s, South Shore, Boston Children’s, Boston Medical Center, Mass General Hospital, UMass Memorial, CT Children’s and UConn Medical Center .  We are continuing to meet with many hospitals throughout New England to bring the EvvGirl Webcam Project to their NICUs.  We have also been working on our Seize the Keys campaign to raise awareness to drunk and distracted driving.
