In the Matrix, Neo sees a black cat walk by followed by another that behaves exactly the same way, a repeat occurrence that as you may already know as deja vu.
Well, this week’s black cat is none other than James Vincent, of Westfield.
Vincent, who claimed victory in Week 1 of our “Beat ‘The Putz’” pro football contest, posted a 10-1 record and survived a tiebreaker tug-of-war to win our Week 12 prize (gift certificate to the Tavern Restaurant).
Vincent is our third contestant to win twice this season. Stephen Sabadosa (Week 8, 11) and Robert Piper (Week 2, 6) also claimed two weekly prizes apiece.
Vincent, Sabadosa, and Piper, along with Ed Antil (Week 3), Gary Francis (Week 4), Marion Zomek (Week 5), Stan Kozik (Week 7), Andy Unterreiner (Week 9), Alan Zalewa (Week 10), and five others (to be determined in the coming weeks) will each be entered into our grand prize drawing for a Super Bowl Spread, courtesy of the North Elm Butcher Block.
There are also chances to win a charcoal grill from Manny’s Appliances (2nd place) and a $50 gift certificate to International Food Market.
There are only five weeks remaining in the 2018 NFL season so don’t miss out on your chance to qualify now. Good luck!
