Waldo Rankin

WESTFIELD: flagWaldo Rankin, 90, of Westfield died Saturday October 3, 2015 at the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 20, 1925 the son of the late Waldo and Zelma ( Buel ) Rankin and was a WWII and Korean War veteran of the Navy. Waldo was a member of the American Legion Post 124 , and the Marine Corps League, both of Westfield, and the Submariners. He was employed as a district service manager for Addressagraph Multigraph and Data Card for forty five years, retiring in 1995. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ann (Guedry) Rankin . Waldo is survived by two sons, Gregory of Minneapolis, MN and Gary and Pam of Shoreview ,MN. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service,76 Broad St., Westfield from 2pm until 4pm.A funeral service will be held at 4pm.Burial with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
