This past Saturday, June 16, several volunteers and members of H.E.R.O.E.S. dba Friends Of The Westfield Regional Animal Shelter, had a benefit car wash at Zuber’s Deli and Ice Cream Store on Route 202 in Westfield and it was a huge success. All the supplies needed to wash the cars were donated by Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Westfield and they also supplied “goodie bags.” All donations were gratefully accepted and every dollar goes toward the health and welfare of animals at the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Road; a shelter that Westfield can be proud of.
