Westfield man facing numerous charges for crash in Southwick

SOUTHWICK – The name of a 40-year-old Westfield man who crashed into two parked cars on Hillside Road Saturday evening has been released. Curtis Pattison has been charged with speeding, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, O.U.I. (Operating Under the Influence), and a marked lanes violation.

According to Southwick Chief of Police Kevin Bishop, Pattison will be summoned to Westfield District Court to face those charges.

Southwick Police was unable to arrest Pattison on scene as he needed medical attention due to suffering minor injuries. Pattison was taken by Southwick Fire EMS to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. 

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night, Southwick Police officers responded to Hillside Road and discovered that Pattison was in his motor vehicle heading north bound on Hillside Road. Pattison then crossed over to the south bound lane and ended up crashing into two vehicles that were parked in the front yard of 199 Hillside Rd. Proceeding that, the vehicle then rolled over and stood on its wheels.

All three vehicles experienced major damage and were towed by Interstate Towing.
