Squirt 3 Red (9) vs Holy Name (1)
Westfield Red dominated Holy Name scoring 6 goals in the first period. Red Imbriglio started with (4) in the first period with assists from Cycer Sgroi, Emerson Trzepacz, Case Viamari and Nolan Lafayette, Liam Barry (1) and Gavin Connors (1) with an assist from Brayden Munger. At the end of the second period Gavin Connors scored an additional goal with another assist from Brayden Munger. During the third period Westfield continued to play for the win with Spencer Roy scoring a goal during this period, followed by a goal from Reid Imbriglio. Holding off Holy Name in defense was Sarah McMahon ensuring the puck stayed in Westfield’s zone. Keeping the net covered was Sean Johnson who made his first appearance in goal this season.

Westfield Red- 6 vs Westfield Black- 2
In their fourth match up this season, both Westfield teams were fighting hard for this win. Westfield Black started with a quick goal within the first few minutes of the game. Westfield Red took this challenge to heart and followed up with two goals by Reid Imbriglio with assists by Emerson Trzepacz and Case Viamari to close out the first period. During the second period the Westfield Red team continued to battle with two additional goals, one by Case Viamari with an assist by Imbriglio, and an additional one by Cycler Sgroi with an assist from Sarah McMahon to close out the second period 4-1. The third period continued to be a tough match up, but the Red team won out with two additional goals, one by Gavin Connors and closing out the game was Reid Imbriglio’s hat trick, leaving the final score of 6-2. Defense by Spencer Roy and Nolan Lafayette was impressive. Liam Barry and Brayden Munger rounded out the team playing center and wing ensuring the puck was in the control of the Red team. Sean McMahon fought off the other teams efforts, making several outstanding saves in net.

Westfield Mite 3 Black
Westfield hockey had a busy 2 days of hockey this weekend. In the 1st tilt of the weekend Matty “Stonewall” Bussell was in between the pipes securing the win. The offensive juggernaut of the JR Bombers were led by Connor Laiho with 8 goals followed by 5 apiece from Treygan Lemanski and Daniel Methe, John Cormier-Healy with 4, Josh Masse with 2, Milana Shuman with 1 and with his 1st goal of the season – Alex Saalfrank.

In the 2nd game in 2 days for the Jr bombers, Matty ”Stonewall” Bussell was lights out once again in goal. The offensive juggernaut of Westfield again scored a plethora of goals. Leading was Treygan Lemanski with 5.
