On Sunday the Jr. Bombers travelled to Vermont to take on Brattleboro. Brattleboro started the scoring with three consecutive goals giving them an early three goal lead. Westfield answered with a goal of their own when Brannon Miele scored on a pass from Joey Roselli cutting the lead to two. Brattleboro would score their fourth goal late in the period but Joey Roselli would score for Westfield on an assist from Mikey Pelletier. In the second period Brattleboro would again strike scoring on Saturday breakaway goal giving them a 5-2 lead. Paul Lawry scored on a Rick Moritko assist giving Westfield their third goal of the game. Brattleboro would score in the late second period increasing their lead to three, but before the period ended Paul Lawry would score his second goal of the game assisted by Rick Moritko and Brandon Houle. In the third period Brattleboro got off to a fast start scoring three consecutive goals giving them a 9-4 lead. Westfield battled back with a goal of their own when Brannon Miele scored from a pass from Joey Roselli. The final score was 9-5 and the Bombers sixth loss of the season. Sawyer King was once again outstanding in net for Westfield making 28 saves.

On Saturday, Westfield played Holy Name Green in the first game between these teams this year. In the first period Jesse Spear scored for Westfield with an assist from Brannon Miele giving the Jr. Bombers an early 1-0 lead. Sawyer King would add an unassisted goal for Westfield increasing their lead to two. Before the end of the first Brannon Miele, Jesse Spear and Joey Roselli would add unassisted goals giving Westfield a five goal lead after one period. In the second Jesse spear would get the hat trick when he scored giving Westfield a six goal lead after two periods. In the third Westfield would score twice more. The first when Mikey Pelletier scored on a pass from Brannon Miele and the last goal unassisted by Joey Roselli gave Westfield an 8-0 victory and their sixth goal of the season. Gavin Conners played great in goal making 9 saves.

On Sunday Westfield played their second goal of the game against Holy Name Green. Holy Name out played Westfield scoring five goals against the Jr. Bombers. Sawyer King scored Westfield’s only goal and Gavin Conners made 12 saves in the loss.

WTM 20, Westfield 7
After the holiday break Westfield was ready to start the 2016 games. Another early morning start for Westfield. They showed up at Amelia Park with a lot of heart and ready for a great hockey game. As the sun was coming up the team took to the ice. Westfield started the game strong but WTM was able to pull out a win.
The Mite 1 Jr. Bomber team played WTM. Cody Bard had a hatrick. Sean McMahon, Jake Balser, Joey Jubb, and Charlie Wilson all scored a goal each. Jacob Millard was goalie and had 32 saves at goal.
Parker Stockseth, Liam Dolan, Andrew Galcznski, Isaac Durfey, and Gavin Trepacz played well in defense.

Ludlow 14, Westfield 3
Another early morning start for Westfield. They showed up at Smead ready for a great hockey game. Charlie Wilson, Sean McMahon and Liam Dolan all scored a goal today. Ludlow fought back with 14 goals. Jacob Millard was goalie and had 24 saves at net.
Defense was played well by Jake Balser, Isaac Durfey, Cody Bard, Joey Jubb, Gavin Trepacz, Parker Stockseth, and Andrew Galcznski.

Westfield Squirt 3 Red 7, Ludlow 3
These two teams came to battle it out in their second meeting this season. Westfield’s Case Viamari started the team off with a goal within the first three minutes of the game. Ludlow came back quickly to even it out with a 1-1 score during most of the first period. With 56 seconds left remaining in the first period, Reid Imbroglio scored his first of four goals during this game. At the end of the second period Westfield was up 3-1. During the 3rd period Ludlow scored two quick goals brining their score to three, however Westfield was up for the challenge. Nolan Lafayette added two additional goals with one occurring with just 40 seconds remaining in the third period, ending the total goals for Westfield at 7. Between the pipes was Gavin Connors who defended the net from many shots.
