Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Mullins Center, Amherst, MA
Division: Squirt 3

After a defeat by Westfield Jr. Bomber three weeks ago, FCHA and Westfield squared off in neutral territory at the Mullins Center. FCHA had on their game faces as did Westfield.
In the net this morning was Jack Cashman. Jack made 24 saves on goal, many of which were tough glove saves. In the first period, FCHA made the first goal within a few minutes but Westfield’s defense pulled out all the stops! Bryce Alconis, Kailyb Santiago, Spencer Roy and Mason Garrity disrupted every attempt at goal made by FCHA despite being on power play.
The second period proved to be no match for Westfield’s Jr Bombers, several attempts on goal were made by Sara McMahon, Michael Miller, Garrette Ondrick and Sean Rodgers. Ryan Rodgers, on defense, fired the puck out of the Bomber’s zone and into FCHA territory to disrupt a goal, great job Ryan! Then, towards the end of the period, Reid Imbriglio goes for the break away and scores on FCHA during a power play! Way to go Reid! In the third period, several attempts were made on goal by Nolan Lafayette, J.J. Fox, Ryan DeFalco and John Lacey in an attempt to break the tied score. But in the last few minutes of the game, FCHA got the lucky shot. In the end, Westfield made 16 shots on FCHA’s goalie. The Westfield Jr. Bomber’s brought 110% to the ice this morning, and played an excellent game, everyone should be very proud.
