The Westminster school softball team improved to 5-0 last week with help from some local players.
Westminster ace Brenna Monroe (Southwick) pitched a complete game giving up just one run on five hits, improving to 3-0 on the season.

Monroe also went 2-for-4 at the plate. Junior second baseman Gabby Brown (Southwick) continued her torrid hitting streak going 2-for-4 at the plate. Sophomore Katie Neilsen (Westfield) broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth driving in two runs with a double to deep centerfield, Neilsen went 2-for-3 in the game.
