Amanti Cup begins

WESTFIELD – The Babe Ruth Baseball Amanti Cup got under way with Cortina Tile and ITI tossing out the first pitch Saturday. The Batters Box next took the field and dispatched Kiwanis 13-1. A double header took place Sunday. As of press time late Sunday, final results were not available.
The Cup games will continue well into the week with the first two loser’s bracket games Monday night at Bullens Field at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Games will also be held on Wednesday and Friday, followed by the championship Saturday at 5 p.m.
