WESTFIELD – Westfield picked up a hard-fought victory against previously unbeaten West Side (9-1) in a high school boys’ volleyball contest Wednesday night.
It was the eighth straight win to begin the season for the undefeated Bombers.
Westfield’s Nick Hall, Isaiah Headley, and Eric Shilyuk delivered some solid blocks; Manny Golob led the Bombers offensively; and Golob and Dmitriy Doroshenko were stellar in serve receive.
The Bombers will return to the court Friday at Ludlow at 5 p.m.
