SOUTHWICK – A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car Wednesday night.
According to Southwick Police, they received a report around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night that a motorcycle traveling north on College Highway collided with a vehicle traveling south on College Highway.
The point of impact is undetermined at this time. Southwick Police was assisted at the scene by the Massachusetts State Police Reconstruction team along with the Southwick Fire Department.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and no other injuries were reported.
According to Southwick Police Dispatch, College Highway was closed between Tannery to Sunnyside roads. College Highway was reopened at around 3 a.m. on Thursday morning.
