WESTFIELD – The Babe Ruth Baseball recently held its award ceremony.
Season-ending awards were presented to regular season champions Cortina Tile and to Dan Welch City Cup champs Advance Manufacturing for the Babe Ruth 2019 season. Dylan Arooth and Jimmy Cloutier were named co-MVPs and Ryan LaPoint received the coveted Scott McClenna award.
The Scott McClenna award has been given out to the player in the league that best exemplifies what Scott McClenna stood for – sportsmanship, perseverance, ability, teamwork and attitude. This award has been given out each season for more than 40 years.
