WESTFIELD – Westfield built a 4-0 lead at the half, and cruised to a 7-2 win over Holyoke at Bullens Field in a night contest Monday.
Several Bombers got in on the scoring act, including: Mike Visconti (2 goals, assist), Matt Butera (3 assists), Igor Belykopytov (goal, assist), Ryan Prenosil (goal), Francesco Liucci (goal), Erdem Acka (goal), Sam Winiarski (goal), and Kyle Beis (assist).
Westfield improved to 11-3-2.

Rams knot Mustangs
Southwick 2, Monson 2

Bailey Emerson and Tim McGrath scored one goal apiece for Southwick. Rams’ goalie Nick Chambers finished with 11 saves.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
Rams edge Hoosac
Southwick 1, Hoosac Valley 0

Southwick’s Lydia Kinsman set up Sabrina Provost for the game’s only score. Rams’ Tori Richburg (12 saves) recorded a shutout.

Gators shut out Indians
Gateway 4, Ware 0

Gateway exploded for three second-half goals to pull away at home.
Samantha Belardo scored twice, and Julianna Dickinson and Jessica Van Heynigen collected one goal apiece for Gateway. Van Heynigen also had two assists.
Gators’ keeper Becca Herman made two saves in a shutout.

FIELD HOCKEY
Rams silence Franklin
Southwick 5, Franklin Tech 0

Sydney Rogers had two goals and one assist to lead Southwick on offense. Rams’ goalie Sarah Power (1 save) earned a shutout.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Millionaires buck Rams
Lenox def. Southwick 25-18, 24-26, 25-16, 27-25

Morgan Levesque (23 assists, 7 kills, 3 digs), Anna Lynch (18 digs, 3 aces), and Kasey Vallee (10 aces) propelled Lenox at home.
Southwick’s Olivia Diamond finished with 15 digs, three kills, and two aces; and Caroline Methe had 12 digs and four kills.
