WESTFIELD – In a press release on Tuesday afternoon, city officials announced the plan for this year’s 4th of July Fireworks for Freedom.
Due to the overwhelming success of this location, all festivities will take place behind South Middle School on West Silver Street.
This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday June 30 beginning at 6:30pm with fireworks starting just after dusk. Sunset on that day is projected to be 8:31pm with twilight ending shortly after 9pm.

As in years past, The Westfield News will list donors as the event nears.
