Percy J, Brown, 42, of 715 Grattan St., Chicopee, saw a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle not prosecuted when he was found to be currently licensed to drive.

Steven R. Maille Jr., 45, of 164 Windsor St., West Springfield, was released on $500 personal surety pending an April 27 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of larceny of property valued less than $250 by false pretenses and larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.

Scott M. Varley, 29, of 31 Lyon Hill Road, Chester, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with an unsecured load

Josh A. Fraser, 37, of 76 South Longyard Road, Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 9 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without a license in his possession and a marked lanes violation brought by State Police.

Yuriy Kentsemal, 28, of 27A Cleveland Ave., Westfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a nine month term in the house of correction suspended, with probation for two years. He was fined $750, assessed $600 and charges of failure to wear a seat belt, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation were not prosecuted. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Kontsemal (with an address of 36 Shannon Lane, Westfield) pleaded guilty to a charge of trespassing and was placed on probation for six months, He was assessed $50.

Gregory E. Hefty, 37, of 6 Belmont St., Westfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and was assessed $50. A charge of assault and battery on a family or household member was not prosecuted. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Hefty, of no fixed address in Westfield, pleaded guilty to charges of vandalizing property and threatening to commit a crime and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $50.

Ryan T. Barber, 20, of 55 Katharine St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of an electric stun gun brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90.

Brandon J. Reynolds, 20, of 41 Norman St., Chicopee, saw a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police decriminalized before an April 19 hearing.
