1:47 a.m.: disturbance, Elm Street, a foot patrol office reports he observed persons outside an Elm Street bar and as he approached he observed one man strike another to spark a scuffle, the officer reports that when the men were separated he was told that they were friends who revived an argument while they were drinking together and it led to blows, neither man wished to pursue criminal charges;
11:55 a.m.; vandalism, Lozier Avenue, a resident came to the station to complain that between 9 -10:30 a.m. that day the Christmas decorations on his front lawn were vandalized, the complainant does not require a formal report but wants the incident documented;
3:17 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a motor vehicle operating eastbound on Main Street with a malfunctioning taillight, the vehicle was stopped and a routine check of the vehicle’s registration revealed the operator’s license had been suspended, the out-of-state registration was suspended and the vehicle was not insured, Royal Frederic, 35, of 552 Linden Boulevard, Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
3:51 p.m.: larceny, Pochassic Road, a caller reports one of his goats was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that about 2 p.m. one of his goats was stolen from his field, the victim described a vehicle seen in the area;
4:38 p.m.: arrest, 200 Southwick Road, an office reports that he became aware that a known party was the subject of three outstanding warrants, the subject was found at his home, Gary Asselin, 59, of 200 Southwick Road, was arrested on the warrants without incident;
4:39 p.m.: fire, Meadow Brook Lane, a caller reports a large fire in a neighbor’s yard, the responding firefighters report the resident was advised of the pertinent city ordinances and extinguished his fire;
6:25 p.m.: disturbance, Bartlett Street, a caller reports his neighbor is kicking his car, the responding officer reports the caller said that a known party with whom he is involved in a pending court case has been outside his residence kicking his car and attempting to instigate a fight, the officer noted a mark on the car and spoke with suspect who denied being outside, the officer reports the man appeared to be drunk and followed him outside saying that his mother was on the phone and wanted to speak with officer, the officer reports the man became increasingly upset when the officer pointed out that he didn’t need to speak with man’s mother since he was an adult , when the man was arrested he fled on foot and when chased down spat at the officer, the man struggled to avoid entering the cruiser and complied only when an electronic control device was employed, Rey L. Augustine, 28, of 24 Bartlett St., was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and intimidating a witness;
6:56 p.m.: animal complaint, East Main Street, a caller reports finding a small stray dog, an animal control officer responded and transported the dog to the municipal animal shelter;
10:57 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Court Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop and requests a tow, the vehicle was towed;

3:08 a.m.; breaking and entering, McKinley Terrace, a caller reports his apartment was broken into in the past few hours, the responding officer reports he inspected the residence with the victim and found it to have been ransacked, property with a total value of about $8,000 including three iPads, a smart phone, a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a notebook computer, a wireless server, a watch, and three video game systems and games was found to have been stolen, a window of a door had been broken to gain access to a deadbolt;
9:59 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed;
11:30 a.m.: assist citizen, Pontoosic Road, an officer was dispatched to take custody of a firearm from the subject of a protective order, the officer reports a gun, ammunition and a license to carry a firearm were surrendered without incident;
2:28 p.m.: violation of a protective order, Hillside Road, a resident came to the station to report that a family member who is the defendant of a protective order has violated the “No contact” clause of he order by sending her text messages;
2:52 p.m.: fire, Clifton Street, a caller reports a fire at a human services program, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports a staff member said that a fire in an electrical fixture was extinguished with a portable fire extinguisher prior to the arrival of firefighters, the firefighters report the very minor electrical fire was safely extinguished;
5:45 p.m.: loitering, Park Square, a patrol officer reports he observed two youths riding scooters at the green, the officer reports he advised the children of the consequences of riding their toys at the park and allowed them to remain on condition that they not ride their scooters;
10:22 p.m.: loitering, Park Square, a patrol officer reports he observed three youths riding skateboards at the green, the officer reports he advised the children of the pertinent city ordinances and they agreed to stop their activity.
