SOUTHWICK – It was a good day for one local coach, and her former team.
Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional head coach Jordan Baillargeon and the Rams enjoyed a big shutout Tuesday. Her alma mater, Westfield – Baillargeon played there several years ago – also won.

Southwick 5, Pioneer Valley 0

Esther Kang scored two goals and one assist to lead Southwick, Morgan Harriman contributed one goal and two assists, and Katy Corey and Kristen Rechenberger had one goal apiece.
Rams’ goalie Sarah Bodzinski (3 saves) earned a shutout.

Westfield 3, East Longmeadow 0
Miranda Boudreau, Marissa Otero, and Olivia Chaoush scored one goal apiece in Westfield’s road shutout. Leighanne Sullivan had a beautiful assist on Chaoush’s second-half effort.
Karly Mastello collected six saves in a shutout in goal for the Bombers, who, at 3-6-2, are still well alive in the playoff hunt.
