WESTFIELD – Errors once again continued to plague the Westfield High School baseball team, resulting in another loss. Chicopee was the direct beneficiary of the Bombers’ sloppy play, winning 8-6 at Bullens Field.
“Costly errors took the ball game out of our hands again,” Westfield coach Rich Discenza said.
Rob Sullivan went 3-for-5 for Westfield, and teammate Nate Barnes drove in a pair of runs.
Nick Asselin led Chicopee, going 3-for-4 at the plate.
