A whopping 34 percent of the public fared better than my paltry 8-5 record from Week 4. Either our contestants are becoming more football savvy or my skills are quickly deteriorating.
For my sake, let’s hope it’s Option A.
Regardless, two entrants went 11-2 with Gary Francis winning the tiebreaker. Francis came closest with 40 points. The total points of the Sunday night game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers was 45.
Also, for the record, it appears I have not jinxed the Patriots as Brady’s Bunch enjoyed a home rout of the Miami Dolphins. New England is off Sunday. They host the Indianapolis Colts Thursday night. – CP
