Holiday cheers to Pats, Pelli

I’m not sure which was more shocking in Week 15 of the National Football League – the Patriots miraculous turnabout in Pittsburgh or Jack Pelli’s stunning 13-1 record to win our “Beat ‘The Putz’” pro football contest.
The Patriots have built a rich history of successes, following the infamous Tuck Rule, winning Super Bowls amidst controversy (Spy Gate, Deflate Gate), and now, following a touchdown reversal and subsequent interception on Sunday, they may be poised to add to an expanding showcase of Lombardi trophies (should they hold on to the top seed in the American Football Conference).
Two weeks still remain.
That means contestants have two more weeks to join Pelli, a Westfield resident, and several others in our grand prize drawing for a flat-screen television, courtesy of Manny’s TV & Appliances. Our weekly winner also walks away with a gift certificate to The Tavern Restaurant.
Week 16’s top games feature the 8-6 Buffalo Bills at the New England Patriots (11-3), the Atlanta Falcons (9-5) at the New Orleans Saints (10-4), the Los Angeles Rams (10-4) at the Tennessee Titans (8-6), and the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) at the Dallas Cowboys (8-6).
Good luck and Happy Holidays! – CAP
