SOUTHWICK – It rained 3’s in Southwick Monday night.
Southwick drained 10 three-pointers – Hunter Iglesias converted five and Matt Daley made three – as the Rams’ boys’ hoops team poured it on from long range in a season opening rout of visiting Athol.
Southwick finished off Athol, 66-35.
“We shot the ball really well,” Southwick coach Dylan Dubuc said. “I thought we executed pretty well on defense too.”
Iglesias finished with a team-high 18 points. Daley had 12.

“Athol isn’t as strong as they were in the past, but this is still a good win to start the season,” Dubuc said.
Southwick will look to extend its solid start Wednesday when the Rams host Pioneer Valley Christian Academy at 7 p.m.
