Johnson claims victory

Beat the Putz LogoFirst and foremost, I’d like to address my record for this past Sunday’s games.
My chief statistician made a point to mention my paltry 7-5 record last week, one of the worst outings of my 2014 campaign. Thanks Melissa.
Now that that has been put to rest, I’d like to point out how bad my competition was. Or to shine a positive light on things – how good a small handful fared.
Three people finished 9-3 with Jeremy Johnson, of Southwick emerging victorious with 56 tiebreaker points. Those entrants, and five others at 8-4 will be entered into the grand prize drawing at season’s end.
According to data compiled from Sunday’s results, many entrants were denied grand prize contention for picking against Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, (and of course, the big Gronkowski).
Next up for the Pats – a tough home contest against the Detroit Lions. This week’s tiebreaker features the Dallas Cowboys, fresh off a bye, at the New York Giants.
