SOUTHWICK – Linda A. (St. Peter) Barthelette, 63, of Southwick, a devoted and adoring Mom, “Gramma B”, sister and friend passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Gladys H. (Johnson) and Edward G. St. Peter.Linda was a lifelong resident of Southwick. She was a caring, kind, compassionate and generous woman who always put her family and friends before herself. She had a great love and affection not only for her loved ones but also for her cat, Lucy. Linda was a die-hard Red Sox and NASCAR fan. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Southwick High School. She earned her Associates Degree in Dental Assisting from STCC. Linda began her over 20 year career in the Southwick School System as a dietary aide, then as the library secretary and retired in 2010 as the Guidance Office secretary.
Linda is survived by her two loving and grateful daughters, Traci L. Barthelette and her boyfriend Joe Cattalinic and Kimberli A. (Barthelette) Racicot and her husband Dave all of Westfield; her sister, Debbie Linsday and her husband David of Murrieta, CA; her brothers, Barry of Pittsfield and Mark of Southwick; and her three step-grandchildren, Kelli, Kyle and Alex; and a step-great granddaughter Ava. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. Calling hours will be held before the service from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
