Marie (Brin) Pawlikowski

GULF PORT, FL: Marie (Brin) Pawlikowski, 76, of Gulf Port, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 11, 2021.

Marie married the love of her life, Richard Pawlikowski in Easthampton, MA on June 21, 1964.  They were blessed with 4 wonderful daughters. While raising the girls, Marie became a Girl Scout leader, a cheerleading coach, and later joined the Red Hat Society.  She worked at Digital Equipment Corporation, and the United States Fish and Wildlife Association before moving with her husband to Florida where she eventually retired.

To her family and friends, she was lovingly known as “Petie” or “Baci”.  She was a beach girl, and loved the ocean. Marie always felt blessed to have had the chance to move to Florida with Rich and enjoy the sunshine. She woke up each morning watching the dolphins swim by her window. She loved to go fishing, was an avid scrapbooker (every grandchild had their own scrapbook from “Baci”), played canasta, bunco, loved vacationing at the OBX with her family, enjoyed going to the casinos and was the biggest fan at her grandchildren’s events. She was an energetic, caring friend, always willing to pitch in when needed and had a beautiful smile that lit up a room…no matter how she felt.

Her family was her pride and joy. She leaves a very heartbroken family behind; Daughters, Donna Parsons (Jeff), Karen Booth (Howard, Jr.), Cheryl Pashek (Don) and Kristy Parzych (John). Her beloved 6 grandchildren; Brent and Andrew Booth, Zack Parsons, Brandon and BrookeLyn Pashek and Katie Parzych.

Marie was predeceased by her husband Richard (2003), her parents, Roger and Marie Brin, her 3 siblings, Shirley Capen, Roger Brin and Carol Stout.

Calling hours will be at the Boucher O’Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St., Easthampton, MA on Friday October 22nd from 5:00-7:00pm. A service for Marie will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Parish Church, 33 Adams St., Easthampton, MA on Saturday, October 23rd at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  (www.stjude.org)
