GRANVILLE – Matthew “Matt” J. Hansen, 55, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield to the late Frederick C. and Lucille C. (Belleau) Hansen.
A 1976 graduate of Southwick High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and handyman for many years.
Matt is survived by his siblings, Michael F. Hansen and David J. Hansen both of West Warwick , R.I., Lisa M. Hansen of Albany, NY, Jeanne M. McGuire of Cummington, MA and Mary A. Enos of Yarmouthport, MA; two nephews, Alan M. Hansen and John F. Enos and four aunts.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the Silver Street Cemetery, Granville, MA. There are no visiting hours.
Contributions in Matt’s name may be directed to the charity of one’s choice. Southwick Forastiere is in charge of all arrangements.
