SOUTHWICK – Belchertown scored two goals in each half to defeat Southwick-Tolland Regional in a high school boys’ soccer game, 4-0, Thursday. The loss eliminated the Rams from postseason contention.
Alex DeSantis recorded a hat trick, and assisted on another one for the Orioles.
Southwick’s Ryan King played well in defeat, making the move from sweeper to the midfield, where he helped clog up the Belchertown attack.
“Everybody just worked hard today,” Southwick coach Frank Montagna said.

Southwick suffered a home loss to mighty Belchertown. The Rams fell to 12-2.
