Westfield extended their fourth set lead to 23-17 before Bridgewater cut it back to 24-23 via a late run punctuated by two Maymon kills. Haney responded with the final attack of the game, driving the ball cross court to seal the win.
Westfield’s Courtney Ryan (Quincy, Mass./ Quincy) recorded 36 assists on the evening and Bridgewater’s Charleyne Panner (Gilford, N.H./ Gilford) posted 39.
Shannon Shea (Chelmsford, Mass./ Chelmsford) pitched in 12 kills and 11 digs for the win.
