Paul A. Franceschini

Westfield – Paul Alan Franceschini of Westfield passed away suddenly on Friday, March 17, 2017. Paul, 64 years of age, (1953-2017) was born in Holyoke, MA, to the late Paul and Lillian (Rivotto) Franceschini. He graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and later went on to graduate from the Eisenberg School of Business at UMass. His business management degree launched a successful career of more than 30 years in the paper products industry for several companies including Sunoco Paper Products, Mercer Paper Tubes, and the Precision Products Group in Rockford, Illinois. As a Regional Sales Manager, he had responsibility for planning and executing sales campaigns, customer service and quality assurance. For many years, he consistently achieved top sales status and recognition.  Paul enjoyed following spectator sports with special interest in UMass basketball and football. He recently took up playing golf and bicycle riding with friends.  He enjoyed lively discussions about politics, financial markets, and world events. For relaxation, Paul and his wife Sandi, spent time vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, Cape Cod, Florida, and the Caribbean Islands. Paul will be missed by his beloved wife Sandi A. (Newman) Franceschini, his loving siblings, Carol C. Housman and her husband David of Westfield, Linda L. Franceschini of Chicopee,  John A. Franceschini of Holyoke, and many friends and family including his godchild Natalie Laurin, and her sisters Danielle, and Isabel.  He was also very fond of his nephew Justin Newman and his wife Lindsay and their young family.  Missing him also is his faithful dog Schultz. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday at 2 P.M. in the Firtion Adams Funeral Home 76 Broad Street, Westfield.  Visiting hours will precede the service from 12-2 P.M. in the funeral home.
