Pease will be on Sept. 1 primary ballot

WESTFIELD – Candidate for the 4th Hampden District state representative seat, Kelly Pease, had his nomination papers certified at the Western Office for the Secretary of the Commonwealth on May 11. Pease is now officially on the ballot for the Sept. 1 Primary.

Pease has been civic-minded since an early age. While living in the hill towns, he became a fireman, a policeman and was elected to the Board of Selectmen. He then joined the military and served for 20 years on active duty. He served in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Kosovo, Haiti, Germany, England, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Romania. After leaving government service, Kelly, his wife and son moved back to Western Massachusetts to settle in the city where he was born, Westfield. Once in Westfield, he earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Westfield State University, supported local veterans while working at the VA Hospital, worked as a legislative aide for then-state Senator Don Humason, and just completed his Masters of Law degree at Western New England University.

Pease looks forward to continuing to serve as the next state representative for the City of Westfield. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, Pease looked forward to meeting the people of Westfield and discussing the issues in-person. Because of COVID-19, Pease is prioritizing the safety of the citizens of Westfield and asks that you visit his webpage peaseforstaterep.com.
