11:30 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, a person came to the shelter to surrender a female German shepherd dog which was reportedly found running loose in the area of Russell Road;
1:20 p.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, a person came to the shelter to surrender a male Pekinese dog which was found to be running loose;
4:21 p.m.: larceny, Root Road, a caller from a dance studio reports cash was stolen from the business office, the responding officer reports that a total of about $1,000 was reported to have stolen from a cabinet and the caller’s the officer found that although the cabinet was locked the key was accessible, the case was referred to the Detective Bureau;
6:09 p.m.: vandalism, Southampton Road, a caller reports his vehicle was keyed while parked in the lot at a Southampton Road bar and grill;
10:40 p.m.: disturbance, Woronoco Avenue, a caller reports a loud college-aged party, the responding officer reports 20-30 guests were dispersed, the three tenants were reminded of previous similar complaints before they were advised that criminal complaints would be filed against each of them for disturbing the peace.
