12:37 a.m.: incapacitated person, North Elm Street, the manager of a North Elm Street fast food restaurant reports a man has been asleep in the lobby of the restaurant since 9 p.m. and has been allowed to stay there because he was believed to be homeless but the man now is refusing to sleep and seems to be intoxicated, the responding officer reports the man was transported to his Springdale Road home and surrendered to the custody of his roommate;
1:10 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol office reports he observed a motor vehicle lights violation and stopped the car on Springfield Road, the operator was found to be unlicensed, Hector Angel Ramirez-Gonzalez, 20, of 24 Montmonmenci St., Springfield, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and for a motor vehicle lights violation, the car was towed to the police impound yard;
8:18 a.m.: animal complaint, Bates Street, the manager of animal control operations reports she took custody of a sick skunk, the skunk was subsequently taken to a wildlife rehabilitator;
4:05 p.m.: accident, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports his investigation of a property damage vehicular crash on Springfield Road revealed that one of the operators involved had a revoked license, a criminal complaint was filed and his vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:02 p.m.: vandalism, Colony Drive, a caller reports seasonal decorations in the neighborhood have been knocked over, the responding officer reports the caller said that a decorative snowman and a deer and been damaged, the called does not require a formal reports but wants the vandalism documented;
11:42 p.m.: vandalism, McKinley Terrace, a caller reports hearing popping sounds outside and investigated to find windows of his vehicle shattered, the responding officer reports the caller said that he believes a known party who is involved in financial dispute with a family member damaged his car in retaliation, the officer reports he was not able to contact the named suspect.
