3:57 a.m.: accident, Pochassic Street at Atwater Street, a tow truck operator reports he observed a vehicle which apparently slid on the ice of Atwater Street and crossed Pochassic Street to strike an embankment, the responding officer report nobody was found in the vehicle or in the area, the car was found to have been reported to be stolen in Springfield, the Springfield police were notified and the car was towed to the police impound yard;
7:39 a.m.: breaking and entering, Steiger Drive, a caller reports her family’s vehicles were entered overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that both a van and a pickup trunk had been unlocked when they were entered but nothing was found to have been stolen;
3:04 p.m.: arrest, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., Colin James Pacheco, 20, of 4 Lenox St., was arrested for statutory rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on child younger than 14 years-of-age;
4:48 p.m.: larceny, Montgomery Street, a resident came to the station to complain that somebody has been stealing her medications, the responding offer reports his investigation is incomplete;
10:54 p.m.: identity fraud, Valley View Drive, a resident reports via the online reporting option that his identification was fraudulent used in the eastern part of the Commonwealth to make purchases totaling thousands of dollars.
