12:15 a.m.: liquor law violation, Avery Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation;
12:20 a.m.: disturbance, a caller reports persons believed to be college students are making an inordinate amount of noise, the responding officer reports about 90 revelers were dispersed and city ordinance violation citations were issued;
3:36 a.m.: alarm, East Silver Street, an alarm company reports a glass break and motion alarm at an East Silver Street liquor store, the responding officer reports he arrived to find the upper portion of a glass door had been smashed out, a review of the store’s security video showed a male party repeatedly strike the glass and climb through the opening, the man went directly to a shelf of liquor and took three bottles before exiting the way he came in after being inside the store for less than a minute, the case was referred to the Detective Bureau;
10:13 a.m.: assist citizen, Russell Road, a person came to the station to surrender his license to carry firearms and the firearms, the responding officer reports the property was surrendered without incident;
2:37 p.m.: burglary, Southampton Road, a caller reports her home was burglarized, the responding officer reports the caller said that she left her home early in the morning and returned to find her rear door had been kicked in, the woman said that her jewelry, a television and a container of loose coin had been stolen, the case was referred to the Detective Bureau;
4:42 p.m.: breaking and entering, George Street, a caller reports his vehicle was broken into and his wallet was stolen, the responding officer reports the victim said that he parked his car in his driveway about 9:45 p.m. about 4:30 p.m. found the glove compartment was open and his wallet was missing, there were no signs of forcible entry;
5:01 p.m.: breaking and entering, Noble Avenue, a resident said that he left her home for about an hour and returned to find pry marks on both the front and rear doors, the effort to pry open the doors had been unsuccessful but the rear door was kicked open and the woman said that her jewelry box was emptied, nothing else was disturbed;
7:43 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller reports her daughter’s cell phone was stolen from her workplace, the respond officer reports the victim said that customers advised her of problem in the bathroom and when she returned after finding no problem she found her smart phone valued at about $600 was stolen from the counter, the victim said that co-workers said that the two parties who told her of the non-existent problem left the store without making a purchase;
8:00 p.m.: liquor law violation, Franklin Street, a patrol officer reports he saw a young man exiting a liquor store with a 12-pack of beer who returned to the store when a person in the parking lot pointed out the officer, the officer reports the young man emerged moments later followed by another young man carrying the beer, the first man was found to be 20-years-old and the second was of legal drinking age, a city ordinance violation for being a person younger than the legal drinking age was filed;
8:39 p.m.: accident, North Elm Street at Notre Dame Street, a caller reports a tractor trailer unit demolished a utility pole, the responding officer reports a witness identified the markings on a tractor trailer truck seen to strike a pole and destroy it while turning on to North Elm Street, the officer reports he spoke with a company dispatcher who said that information about the specific truck operating in the city would be available during business hours on Monday.
