3:10 a.m.: assist other police department, Westfield State University, 577 Western Avenue, WSU police request the use of a cell for a male prisoner, a cell monitor was provided;
8:01 a.m.: breaking and entering, Southampton Road, a caller reports his car was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that he is not sure that his car was locked when an iPad and a computer left on the car’s seats were stolen;
9:56 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to be suspended, a criminal complaint was filed and the vehicle was towed;
1:30 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Elm Street, a caller complains of an unshoveled sidewalk, the responding officer reports the adjacent bar is out of business, a message was left at a number believed to be associated with a responsible party;
3:52 p.m.: larceny, Fairview Avenue, a caller reports his medications have been stolen, the responding officer reports the caller identified a suspect, the case remains under investigation;
7:14 p.m.: suspicious activity, East Main Street, a caller to the detective bureau reports underage persons are being served alcohol at an East Main Street bar, the responding detectives and community policing officers reports no persons younger than the legal drinking age were found at the establishment;
10:34 p.m.: annoying phone calls, Old Holyoke Road, a resident reports via the online reporting option that she has received a series of annoying telephone calls from an unknown caller, the caller said that her telephone carrier has initiated an investigation;
10:53 p.m.: arrest, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington Street, a Southwick resident came to the station to surrender himself on two outstanding warrants, Paul F. Jones, 47, of 17 Fred Jackson Road, Southwick, was arrested on two warrants issued in 2014 by Westfield District Court;
11:51 p.m.: disturbance, Arnold Street, a caller reports a fight involving several persons, the responding officer reports the caller said that she had been accosted by several persons inside a bar, the officer reports the caller said she was assaulted in the bar and all participants were ejected, the caller was unable to identify a suspect.
